It is with great sadness that we learnt of the untimely passing this week of a past member of Whitegate Camogie Club Una Hogan RIP. Una served as Chairperson of Whitegate Camogie Club from 2001-2003 with great energy and commitment. The highlight of her term was when she presented the late Fr Liam Murray with a “This is your life” award in front of a packed dinner dance in the Mountshannon Hotel in March 2003.
We would like to express our heartfelt condolences to her partner Eugene, daughter Siobhán, son-in-law Roger, grandson Ollie, sister Joan, brothers Kevin, Charlie and Noel, and to all her relatives and friends. There will be a Guard of Honour for Una following her funeral mass tomorrow morning. May she rest in peace.
